If my child fails the swim test, do we get our registration fee back? You will get your registration minus processing and insurance fees. ~$30
Does my child have to know all four strokes to pass the swim test? No, but must make it across the pool one time on their front and one time on their back without holding the side or lane rope. They also must be comfortable putting their face in the water. New 11 and up swimmers will need to have a basic understanding of Breaststroke and/or Butterfly.
How long is the Volunteer Deposit credit card pre-authorization held? Until the end of June
What happens if we meet the volunteer requirement? The pre-authorization will be released
What is the cost of the swimsuit? Approximately Girls $55 Boys $50
We can only arrive at swim meets after 5pm. Can we arrive late? If your child is not at the meet by 4:30, then he or she cannot swim. If your child arrives on time but you can’t arrive until later, we will add you to the 2nd volunteer shift.
Is each swimmer automatically signed up for all swim meets? NO, you must register for each meet 1 week prior. Participation in at least 3 Regular season meets is required.
How much do I have to volunteer? At every meet your child attends. This includes MOC and All-Stars.
Do we have to go to all practices? No - you do not have to attend every practice but it is recommended that you attend as many as you can to increase stamina and refine strokes.
Can we attend a different practice time? ONLY on Coach's approval
